I provide clinical consultation / supervision to mental health professionals. I provide clinical consultation for the following modalities:
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)
I am qualified to provide supervision of EMDR to mental health professionals trained in EMDR for adult client work. I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant / Clinical Supervisor, which means that my skills have been assessed and approved by EMDR UK Association and EMDR Europe Association, and any supervision hours with me will count towards your future accreditation and reaccreditation with these associations.
I have been using EMDR since 2015 to treat a variety of presenting problems. I am also experienced in offering attachment-informed / attachment-focused EMDR therapy, and integrating parts work (Internal Family Systems) with EMDR therapy. I specialise in working with complex trauma, traumatic grief, and complex PTSD presentations. I have a background in working in specialist trauma services in the NHS and third sector.
I am a Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) Practitioner (DBR-P) Approved and in Consultant training, meaning that my clinical experience in this therapy has been assessed and validated by the registering body Deep Brain Reorienting, and I am approved to provide DBR consultation to other DBR therapists. I am supervised and have been trained by Dr. Frank Corrigan, the founder of DBR. I have also completed advanced DBR training and assist at DBR trainings. If you are working towards DBR accreditation, you can count 20 of the 25 clinical consultation hours (minimum) with a DBR-P in training to become a DBR-Consultant.
I have completed the EMDR Consultant training with the EMDR UK Association, Supervision Skills Training I & II with the British Psychological Society, and I have received training in providing supervision as part of the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
